Mitch Shoemaker

Mitch Shoemaker: Tim's uncle, a wealthy and iconoclastic entrepreneur from whom Tim has become estranged due to a falling-out with Tim's father and mother, in a disastrous business venture from years ago. Mitch has since become obsessed with a collection of eerie, mysterious artifacts that have been circulating in the Shoemaker extended family for generations, their history and purpose unknown.
