Priscilla Lehto

Priscilla Lehto: A spirited artist and world traveler, recently returned to Tim's hometown for work after years abroad. Priscilla shares a dark secret and a wrenching history with Tim, which both are anxious to keep at bay. Echoes of the Mystic Chords is set primarily at three US sites, with references to critical events and figures in overseas locations in Japan, China, South America, and Europe. Tim and his close associates are clustered primarily at the fictional Dalton University and neighboring institutions within North Carolina (modeled on Duke, UNC, Wake Forest, and other universities associated with Research Triangle Park in the state). Other key events occur in eastern Tennessee, predominantly at a fictional research institute headed by Rachel Bloom. The Prologue itself takes place in the Chicago Subway and underground rail lines.
