The Helmet of Blinding Vision
Description:
This artifact is one of the most visually striking among the family heirlooms bequeathed to Tim from his Uncle Mitch. Resembling a headpiece, it appears to be consciously modeled on the menacing war helmets borne by the Vikings or the Anglo and Saxon sea pirates who settled Britain in the 5th century A.D. Remarkably, the helmet has been equipped with a dense web of circuitry tucked within its frame, culminating in a complex array of tiny optical projectors lining the eye holes, capable of broadcasting holographic images and videos streams to be viewed in close by whoever is wearing it. Of further intrigue, the helmet appears to interface with the Cereceph as a key source of its projected content. Tim discovers the nature of this link while probing the nature of the Cereceph – and is quickly overwhelmed by the powers thereby unleashed.
